Many of our campers come from low-income, at-risk families. Your donation will go towards camperships to these young girls so that they can attend this camp free of charge and gain positive experiences that enhance their social and emotional development. Our program gives them a week-long opportunity to exchange their inner-city neighborhoods for a safe, outdoors environment that teaches them leadership skills, coping skills, and self-esteem. Throughout their time during Camp Mariastella’s programs, many will undergo a miraculous change as a result of the activities and experiences they are exposed to here.
